ReadingWe are getting ready to take our SOL tests! It is important that you read EVERY night and talk about what you've read with someone at home. Discuss characters, setting, plot, problem and solution. Spend some time comparing characters and retelling the story in sequence. Don't forget to retell with the MAIN parts of the story!
MathWe have learned to write, compare, add and subtract fractions. Do you remember the important job of the denominator?
Decimals are next! We will identify tenths and hundredths. Think MONEY, MONEY, MONEY!!! ScienceAnimal habitats, adaptations, and food chains are our focus! Can you tell some learned behaviors and instinctive behaviors? Why do animals use camouflage? What would happen to the populations if a habitat got too little rain (draught). Can you show interdependency by drawing a food chain?
